This account is geared to support women being it individual, in a group or a start-up business to increase their savings or business capital.

Requirement

  1. Tabasamu Individual Accounts Opening Requirements
  2. Copy of National Identity Card (NIDA), or Voter ID Card or Driver's License or Passport
  3. Letter of Introduction from the Local Government or Electricity Payment Bill or Water Payment Invoice confirming the place of origin
  4. Two recent Passport size with blue backgroun
  5. Minimum account opening Amount is Tshs.10,000 / =
  6. Minimum Operating amount is Tshs.4,000 / =.
  7. Employee's Identity Card and letter from the Employer
  8. Tabasamu Savings Groups Account Opening Requirements
  9. Minutes or a report showing group names including their names and signatures
  10. A letter from the group leadership naming signatories. Signatories must be endorsed by all group members
  11. Introduction letter from a local government leader with photos of the signatories capturing physical location of the group
  12. A letter of intent to open an account addressed to respective bank branch
  13. Three Passport size photos (blue background) from each signatory to the account of which must be taken at a time of opening such an account
  14. Constitution of the group (if available)
  15. Introduction latter for Workplace & religious groups from their respective authority.
